INTRODUCTION:
vivo X3S is the slimmest smart phone with a every compact design launched by Vivo the china company. It is really head turner with this design. It runs on Octa core processor which is the best. It is packed with 13p primary and 5 MP secondary camera. Lets see how this android slimy phone works.
DESIGN:
vivo X3S is designed to be extremely thin and slimmer design. It is a bit surprising that how this slim designed body with holds an octa core processor. It is made up of plastic and metal. It is obviously very fast. It is looking beautiful with this exciting dual core design. The body is completely rounded at the edges. It is a 5 inch display made of IPS panels.
The volume and power buttons are located on the left side. The USB power slot at the bottom. The 3.5mm Audio jack at the top. The bezels are very thin. The weight of the device is 150grams. Its dimensions are 143.3 x 71 x 6 mm. The brand name vivo is written on the top of the display and at the back side in landscape mode. The speaker grill , front facing camera and the sensor are present on the top of the display. At the back you can see camera and the LED flash.

The camera looks square. The navigation buttons at the lower panel of the display. There is a sim card tray present at the side. A very tiny metallic ring runs around the panel. The dual tone design comes in combination of grey and white color. The back panel is grey in the middle and the bottom and the top of the panel is white in color. The sound speaker is placed at the rear bottom.
DISPLAY:
vivo X3S has a slimmer IPS display with 5 inch size. It is a LCD display giving around 16M colors. It is vibrant with 720 x 1280 resolution. It has a body to screen ratio of 67.7% and a pixel density od 294 ppi. It is a multi touch capacitive screen. It is the fun touch 1.2 UI.
FEATURES:
vivo X3S runs on a octa core processor called 64 bit Octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A7. It is running on the Android Jelly bean v4.2.2 which is not the latest . It comes with a chip set of Mediatek MT6592. And running on GPU Mali-450MP4. It has ROM of 16GB and Ram of 1GB. No expandable memory provided.
Having primary camera of 13MP with LED flash capturing at a resolution of 4160 X 3120 pixels with geo tagging, auto focus, touch focus, face/smile detection features. Stereo speakers are given. Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS options are available. The primary camera records video at 1080p@30fps.5MP Secondary camera is provided. Accelerometer, gyro, compass and proximity sensors are present.
It has 2000mAh li-on non removable battery which provides music play up to 30hrs, talk time up to Up to 14 hrs on 2G and Up to 11 hrs on 3G, and stand by time up to 450 hrs on 2G and 450hrs on 3G. It has dual sim support. Provided with HTML5 browser.
PERFORMANCE:
It looks freaking thin and you get surprised how its gonna work. It is one of the top slimmest smart phones available in the market. The packing is very nicely presented with a few boxes inside. It is nice to have a lot of engineering on the design. Smart wake is provided you can directly swipe on the dark screen to go to your favorite app.
The cameras are of very good quality which can shoot full HD video, the front camera gives very good selfies and video calling. The display looks beautiful with 1080p resolution. The battery back up is ok but we can expect a little more at this price range. It can run pretty well all the graphic intensive games like Temple Run, Asphalt 8. The user interface is very good and user friendly. The processor runs at great speeda and there is no lagging seen in this device.
The only thing to worry abou the device is it doesn’t have any External storage and only 12GB is available for installing apps and storage, it may not be pretty congested but not good enough also. Out of 1GbRAM only 178Mb is available which is pretty less. The ear phone quality is very good for music. The over all performance is ok.
VERDICT:
Vivo X3S is definetly a head turner for its looks. It is one of the most slimmest mobiles available in the market. The nicest thing is this slim piece runs on Octa core processor. There are nothing much cons to worry about but the missing Sd card slot. The OS is outdated and they haven’t provided with any updates. But it is a very good phone with remaining all specs. You can purchase it at a cost of Rs15500/-
