Motorola Moto X-play is a medium sized body with 5.5 inch HD display having curved edges. The rear panel is soft and hard. It has medium-sized panels. It is available in black and white colors. The volume rockers and the power button are located on the right side. The keys are panel colored. The power slot is located at the bottom and the 3.5mm headphone jack is present on the top.

At the rear, there is a camera with LED flash to the center where the camera is embedded in a small plastic panel which gives a premium look. The secondary camera on the front upper panel. The rear panel is removable and when you open it you find Micro sd card and sim slots. The branding comes to the back side only with the Motorola logo. The stereo speakers are available at the rear side. The three capacitive touch buttons are placed on the bottom panel. It is designed in 148 x 75 x 10.9 mm dimensions and the weight is 169 grams.

The screen quality looks good but the colors are a little bit over saturated. Touch response is pretty quick. The viewing angles are very good and from steep angles, the color wouldn’t change. HD resolution IPS technology seems amazing. There is also corning gorilla glass for protection from scratches and damages. The overall screen quality is very good. It supports LED notification. The touch buttons do light up. The call quality is really amazing with clear sound. The speaker sound is loud enough. There is a quick drop down the chain for settings. Hot knot is available which helps in sharing videos photos and music just with one touch. It also supports gesture mode where you can go directly to a required app with a simple swipe. The gestures are customizable. It has auto brightness. You can set the preferred installation to sd card which is very good so storage may not be a problem. Coming to the camera it supports a lot of scene modes. It has zero shutter delay and voice capture, face or smile detection, smile shot, HDR and much more. The colors captured are pretty decent. In very low light condition the photography seemed good.


Its Antutu score is 17949, Quadrant score is 7132 and Nenamark 2 score is 54fps. Coming to the gaming you can play Asphalt 8 very nicely at its highest resolution. There are no lags in gaming and you can play many mid and some of the high-end games nicely.
