Let’s start with the design of Intex Aqua super and built quality. On the first impressions, the device feels good with its chamfered edges. It has this plastic body which is nice. In the box, it is provided with a plastic back case, screen guard, an USB charger and regular earphones. The device is in dark gray color with striped design on the front side. There is a light texture on the back panel. The back panel is removable and it is quite flexible and you won’t break the panel while removing.
The best thing is the back panel doesn’t attract any fingerprints and stays scratch proof. At the back comes the chrome finished Intex branding. The device feels very light. Moving on to the front side, it is a complete glass and it gets scratched easily as the quality of the glass it’s not in the best terms. It is better if you use any tampered glass. The quality of overall phone feels on and off as it has the best flexible back panel and a steel rim surrounding the device and the worst display which is prone to scratches. Jumping to the placements, to the top of the display you will find a front camera, a mic, and some sensors.
On the top of the display comes the secondary noise cancellation mic. At the bottom comes the 3.5mm audio jack and a charging slot. At the back comes the single stereo speaker. The three capacitive touch buttons available here are not backlit. The volume and the power button are placed on the right side just like the usual. Opening the device at the back you will find a 2150mAh battery. The dimensions of the device are 144.00 x 75.30 x 7.65 mm
The Intex Aqua Super is supplemented with a 5-inch multi capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Having a pixel density of 294 ppi. With a screen to body ratio of 63.5 %.
Intex Aqua super mobile device is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with Mali-T720 MP2 graphic card. It is provided with a 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The Intex Aqua Super packs an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The device runs on Android 5.1 and is powered by a 2150mAh removable battery. This is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
Talking about the performance of Intex Aqua super, the display is good with the resolution given. The touch response is a bit slow and sometimes unwanted apps will be opening. Watching videos is fairly good. The stereo speaker is loud but has a bit of noise. But the display glass gets scratches easily but the good thing is it comes with 1-year screen breakage warranty.
The phone runs on Lollipop and the customization option is kept to minimal. The browsing and searching are good but has some glitches once a while. It comes with a 16 GB internal storage and I have installed many apps and games it still left me with 8GB free space. Yeah, the internal storage is good. The 3GB processor works well and the processor pushes on its best terms. The best part is it handles heavy games like dead trigger two on the medium resolution.
The Subway surfer game is awesome. The call connectivity is ok and the 4G speeds are amazing. The battery is the complete waste you have to charge it for every 4 hrs when you data pack is on. The Overall performance of the device is good but the glitches while browsing makes it feel like a low-end smartphone.
Intex Aqua super Camera part is not on the best side. It had many camera features. Like beauty mode, panorama, HDR, normal mode etc. The photos taken have average quality. And even in HDR mode, the pictures taken are average. The front camera is also on the downside. The Camera is not the best part of the device.
The AnTuTu benchmark score of the device is 23988, Nenamark score 49.1fps is and the Geek benchmark score is on single core 450 and multi-core 1181.
On the good side of the device we have:
ü A nice display
ü It can play heavy graphic intensive games
ü Loud stereo speakers
On the bad side of the device:
û We get, a display which is easily prone to scratches
û Horrible camera
û Weak battery
Considering to buy Intex Aqua super may not be a great choice even at the low price of 8K. It has both the good points and bad points. But you can just go for better brands like Moto E3 power which is available at a similar price tag.
