HPcompany launches another business android tab which is quite similar to proslate 8 having very minor changes in features but with a much larger display. Thistab is designed to look bigger with absolute quality than ever seen. Now letsget into the tech specs of the product.

DESIGN:

Thetab looks much bigger which has a 12.3� display with curved edges and metallicfinish at the back side which is silver in color with integrated chip set,front facing stereo speakers are placed on the top and bottom of the display. Thelogo comes on the back side of the tab and on down panel on the front side. Ithas a grey soft touch back panel. When you open the rear panel we find a  non removable battery, a nano sim card slotand microSD slot. Consists of 2MP front camera and 8MP rear camera. Itsdimensions are 300.3 x 222 x 8 mm and weighs around 850g. Comes with 10W ACcharging adapter. Made of mercury free display backlits.

HPpro slate 12 has a display of 12.3� IPS LCD capacitative touch screendisplaying around 16 million colors. Consisting a resolution of 1200 x 1600with ~163 ppi pixel density. Consisting of corning concore glass for givingscratch proof screen. Having an aspect ratio of 4:3 which gives naturalreadability.

PERFORMANCE:

Comingdown to the performance of HP pro slate 12 is quite good with great processorsand internal 32GB storage gives more space for apps. Lag time is not seen,responsive. Camera is decent capturing life like pictures. But the resolutionis quite disappointing while comparing to pro slate 8. HP duet pen feature isquite impressing. Simply to say its performance is quite similar to pro slate8.We can say that this is a business tabs because of the security featuresprovided by the HP and all default preinstalled business apps. You cant havemany tabs in this size but whats more interesting is it is running on AndroidLollipop. And the design is very nice and very light weighted. It works withHPs new duet pen and it is really amazing because it works both on screen andlike old fashioned on paper. It got fairly powerful CPU and its storage spaceis pretty good. It got five additional micro phones which pick up the ultrasonic sound which is really amazing. The geek bench mark score is 3918 onsingle core and 20799 for multi core and 3D ice mark test is 18700. Thequadrant bench mark score is 23,103.

VERDICT:

Ifyou are interested in large displays you�ll definitely like this tab. It givesmore productive work, definitely designed for business work. Design is good.Great performance. It is available around Rs 35000/- in India. It�s a littlebit pricey but offers very good quality. It is eco friendly in nature made ofmercury free displays.
